Clinical efficacy of the HYPOALLERGENIC ACTIVE diet in cats with adverse food reaction symptoms
In this research a correlation is highlighted for the first time between the trend in the blood concentration of oxytetracycline, an antibiotic widely and legally used in the intensive breeding of livestock (mainly chicken and turkey), and the clinical dermatological manifestations (pruritus at the neck and back, salivation and skin lesions), in 18 owner cats fed for a long time with commercial diets.
