The Valuable Role of Nutrition

Nutrition plays a primary role in puppies health and development, it directly influences their immune system, body-build, growth rate and skeletal development, since all biological functions are only possible if the organism is provided with enough energy and nutrients. Animals must be fed in relation to their weight, physiological condition (growth, pregnancy, suckling, old age), climatic and life condition, gender. A smaller dog or cat would have higher nutritional needs- per kilogram of body weight- than a bigger animal, a male animal more than a female one, free moving dogs or cats more than those ones living in apartments, etc.
