Nutrition: from first medicine to first poison
We have examined and discussed the problem concerning the use of pharmacological and chemical substances, which are used to increase the production of fruit, vegetables, meat and fish derived from intensive agriculture, milk, eggs and cereals. These substances can persist inside the products in variable quantities and, gradually or rapidly (often in a few hours), poison the organism causing reactions such as allergies, anaphylactic shocks (not so frequent), autoimmune diseases (fortunately not so frequent but in continuous increase) and inflammatory processes, the most common reaction.
